Japali Hanuman Temple

 Japali Hanuman Temple:

Japali Hanuman Temple is one of the oldest temples in Tirumala and it is said that when Lord Rama, Devi Sita, and Lakshmana were in aranyavasa, they lived here for a period of time.

This is the place where Lord Hanuman gave darshan to Jabali muni and the idol inside the temple was installed by no one, it was a self-proclaimed (Swayambhu), Lord himself appeared on the stone.

Wow... interesting right? come let's dig deep into the story!!!

Many years ago there was a muni(Saint) called Jabali who was the bhakta of Lord Hanuman and he performed enormous prayers and Japa (meditative repetition of a mantra or a divine name). Lord Hanuman was pleased with his worship and gave darshan to him by appearing on a huge rock. That is the idol which is there inside the garbhagudi of the Japali temple.

This temple is surrounded by 2 ponds, Rama kund in front of the temple and Sita Kund on the backside of the temple.

This temple is surrounded by tall grown trees which are centuries old and throughout the path, it is covered with dense forest. You will feel heaven while traveling to this place.

Many devotees who visited this temple say that all their long-lasting desires were fulfilled after visiting this temple and offering prayers to Lord Hanuman.

How to reach Japali Hanuman Temple:

This temple is located 7kms from Akasa Ganga and Papavinasanam. From the entrance point, one can reach to temple via the Steps route which is recommended, and not to use uncharted routes as the surroundings are a nest for the many wild animals.

Hope everyone visits the Japali Hanuman Temple next time when you travel to Tirumala and have the blessing of Lord Hanuman.

Jai Shree RAM.....

Jai Hanuman......
