  Japali Hanuman Temple: Japali Hanuman Temple is one of the oldest temples in Tirumala and it is said that when Lord Rama, Devi Sita, and Lakshmana were in aranyavasa, they lived here for a period of time. Yantrodharaka Hanuman Temple: This Hanuman temple is located on the top of the hill on the banks of the river Tungabhadra. As I said in my earlier post, on this hill itself Lord Rama met Lord Hanuman for the first time. It's exactly 2kms from  Virupaksha temple .   Lord Hanuman idol is installed by Sri Vyasarajaru (Madhwa Saint), the Rajaguru of Vijayanagara Kingdom.
