Puri Jagannath Temple:

Not just one or two, every segment of this Puri Jagannath Temple is a wonder and miracle. None of the scientists couldn't decode the mysteries here. We all know about the famous Chardham Yatra, Puri Jagannath Temple is the first place to visit in Chardham yatra. Let us see the Origin of this Temple: Puri Jagannath Temple is one of the oldest temples of Lord Jagannath- the Incarnation of  Lord Vishnu. This Temple is located in Puri in the state of Odisha. Here we can see three Idols i.e. idols of Lord Jagannath, Subhadra Devi, and Balarama. Lord Brahma came here and installed these Idols!!  (let's dig deep into the story). Yantrodharaka Hanuman Temple: This Hanuman temple is located on the top of the hill on the banks of the river Tungabhadra. As I said in my earlier post, on this hill itself Lord Rama met Lord Hanuman for the first time. It's exactly 2kms from  Virupaksha temple .   Lord Hanuman idol is installed by Sri Vyasarajaru (Madhwa Saint), the Rajaguru of Vijayanagara Kingdom. History of Yantrodharaka Hanuman Temple: Once Sri Vyasarajaru took a holy bath in the Tungabhadra river and sat at one place and started prayers to Lord Hanuman, before praying he took charcoal and drawn outline of Hanuman. After his prayer, the outline got vanished and the real monkey came from that place and went away. The second day also the same thing happened and this continued for 12 days.  Hampi is situated on the banks of the Tungabadra River. It is also called Pampa kshetra or Kishkindha Kshetra. To know the importance of this place then we have to go back to Tretha Yuga, Hampi is the place where Lord Rama and Lakshmana met Lord Hanuman for the first time. Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy is a self-proclaimed (Swayambhu) incarnation (avatar) of Lord Vishnu. This Temple is located in a dense forest at Ananthagiri hills, Vikarabad, Telangana. Here are Some Amazing Facts about this place: .   Stated in Vishnupuranam, Long back in Dwapara yuga, Rishi Markandeya went in search of a peaceful and pleasant place for doing Japam(Meditation) of Lord Vishnu, at this time Lord Brahma came and suggested this place called Ananthagiri. Then Rishi Markandeya came here and did immense meditation (Japam) for 1400 years and pleased Lord Vishnu.                     Beside  Garbha Gudi there is a cave that is connected to Kasi. Rishi Markandeya used to go to Kasi and bring holy water from the Ganga river and did abhisheka for Anantha Padmanabha Swamy. Even at present, one who visits this temple can see this Cave. One day on Ashada Shudha Ekadashi Rishi Markandeya couldn't go to Kasi at early hours then lord himself made Ganga river to come at this place.
